Description
Under supervision, the Night Auditor is responsible for checking in and out members, owners, and guests, make room reservations, and perform Front Desk related functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensures proper standards of hospitality are provided to all members, owners, and guests on property and/or via telephone.
- Ensures all pending arrival information is accurate (i.e. check rates and prepare upcoming arrival packets with necessary materials and information).
- Checks in and checks out members, owners and guests.
- Follows through on requests and/or concerns in a timely manner.
- Handles and resolves complaints.
- Verifies guest information (i.e. for additional keys, telephone calls, and packages).
- Computes billing charges, collects payments and provides change.
- Posts charges as received through other deparments (i.e. fitness center, housekeeping, logo shop, and laundry).
- Answers the telephone with proper ettiquette and transfer calls accordingly.
- Communicates with all internal departments including PBX, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security.
- Balances all end of day shift reports.
- Verifies cash and credit card transactions.
- Completes nightly cash drop.
- Completes night audit checklist.
- Completes special projects, stocking, list items to be ordered, and daily bucket checks.
- Reports incidents to management/security immediately.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Compensation: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour. Eligible employees may receive a quartly bonus if the propertiy achieves established performance measures.
Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
- Recognizes an emergency situation and take appropriate action.
- Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
