Job Description:Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the emergency department.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Information

Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (PALS) an asset
Provincial posting open to SUN members – SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) an asset
Knowing principles/methods/techniques in nursing services in Emergency desired
