Your role
Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the incumbent performs preventive maintenance and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment and the building and performs emergency repairs as required.

Your responsibilities

Analyze equipment breakdowns and operating problems and find solutions,
Perform preventive and routine maintenance in accordance with ISO
standards and procedures (sharpening, cleaning, lubrication, calibration,

inspection, etc.)

Make the necessary adjustments to current and future equipment (robot, stripper, press, reel, unwinder, placer, etc.) and make the necessary repairs to the equipment,
Maintain interior and exterior buildings (offices and plants),
Perform welding, machining, and carpentry tasks,
Carry out commissions and purchases (ex: BMR),
Participate in the training of new employees,
Respect work procedures and deadlines,
Respect ISO standards and procedures,
Respect health and safety standards in the workplace,

Profile sought

Must be able to read measurements (imperial and metric),
Needs to have knowledge of mechanics, electricity, machining, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics,
Is required to know how to use a vernier and other measuring instruments,
Is expected to demonstrate good mechanical skills,
Must have good physical ability,
Needs to be able to work in a team,
Must be able to work under pressure,
Must be reliable,
Needs to maintain order and organization,
Must be resourceful.

Required skillsProfessionnal diploma in industrial mechanics or equivalent (an asset)1 to 3 years’ experience in mechanic or industrial maintenance
