Position Overview

As Territory Sales Manager, you'll lead the continued growth of Norstar's Agricultural Division by supporting and developing an experienced sales team while strengthening customer relationships throughout your assigned markets.

This is a leadership role that combines sales management with strategic territory development. You'll help improve sales performance, implement consistent processes, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customers continue to receive exceptional service across the agricultural market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the agricultural sales team to improve performance, consistency, and accountability.
  • Support territory growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with company growth goals.
  • Create structured sales processes, forecasting, and reporting practices.
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and leadership to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend strategies to expand market share.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and long-term customer partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of sales experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Required: Experience selling farm equipment, agricultural equipment, agricultural technology, farm supplies, seed, crop inputs, livestock equipment, or related agricultural products.
  • Experience working with tractor manufacturers, agricultural equipment dealerships, farm supply companies, or precision agriculture providers is highly preferred.
  • Proven success growing sales territories or regional markets.
  • Experience leading and coaching sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of territory planning, customer relationship management, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
