Role overview
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up Brake Presses to specifications.
- Operate equipment in accordance to all safety procedures.
- Operate Brake Presses to produce quality products.
- Read drawings and work instructions.
- Complete all paperwork/computer entries as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and keep up with the demands of production.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable working with large machinery.
- Must be able to work in a hot (not temperature controlled), physically demanding environment.
- Ability to perform all physical requirements for the job, including moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience operating and setting up brake presses is an asset.
- Working knowledge of all measuring equipment and tooling.
- Ability to read drawings and work instructions.
