We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This temporary part-time role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality and catering industry. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area
Oversee coffee machine settings and perform routine maintenance
Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience
Handle cash and process transactions accurately
Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Barista experience preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates
Experience in front of house roles is an advantage
Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance
Attention to detail and a passion for coffee
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills and the ability to multitask
