RCMP Jail Supervisor

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, as per schedule
SCHEDULE: 2 day shifts 6:00am - 6:pm, followed by 2 night shifts 6:00pm - 6:00am, on a 4 on / 4 off rotation

DEPARTMENT: RCMP

HOURLY RATE$35.85 per hour, Pay Grade 2 – Schedule “B” Outside Employees

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

• N/A

SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Successful completion of Jail Supervisor Training Procedures
• Successful completion of basic fist aid with CPR
• WHMIS
• Computer literate (good working knowledge of computers and applications)
• Ability to read, write and comprehend written orders
• English Language essential

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 19 years of age
• Canadian Citizen
• Good physical condition
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain and RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance
• Ability to utilize the utmost discretion is of paramount importance due to the confidential nature of information the Jail Supervisor is exposed to in relation to duties
